CLASSROOM RULES
1. Show respect to others.
2. Listen while others are talking. (One person talks at a time.)
3. Listen and follow directions.
4. Keep feet, hands and objects to myself.
5. Respect voice level expectation.
6. Show respect to school and personal properties.
7. Work and play in a safe manner.
Our three pledges:
Safe environment, Respectful manner, Learning attitude.
Rasulullah (SAW)) said, ‘The best among you in Islam are those with the best manners, so long as they develop a sense of understanding.” (Al-Bukhari)
Rasulullah (SAW) said: “The most beloved of Allah’s servants to Allah are those with the best manners.” (At-Tabarâni)
Behaviour Procedure
While a student violates a classroom rule and engage in disrespectful and disruptive behaviour that interrupts his/her and other's learning , s/he receives a reminder and his/her popsicle stick moves to next bucket. If the stick reaches in red bucket s/he receives a 'Think sheet" and the sheet goes home for parent's signature. At this point, parents are required to discuss with the child to find a solution. Three "think sheet" would lead to a 'Blue Form' and parent need to see teacher/ administration to make a collaborative plan .
